Filming has been in progress for several weeks, creating a palpable buzz around town. The presence of two A-list stars has added to the excitement as locals eagerly try to catch a glimpse of them and any recognisable supporting cast members. Gillian Anderson, renowned for her role in the long-standing science fiction series, The X-Files, has achieved continued success on both stage and screen starring as Lily Bart in The House of Mirth on screen and as Blanche DuBois in a Street Car named desire. She has won a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

She stars alongside Jason Isaacs who has graced screen and stage for many years, probably most famously as Lucious Malfoy in the Harry Potter series. But he wasn't spotted today but let's keep look out!

Observing the filming process in Ilfracombe, it is truly remarkable to witness the immense work and dedication that goes into capturing even a single scene. The production involves a team of over twenty individuals, including security personnel, traffic managers, crew caterers, and multiple camera operators. It was a joy to be held up for five minutes.
